Police appeal for information after collision between runner and lorry near Baldock

Police are appealing for information after a collision involving a lorry and a runner on the A507 near Baldock.

The runner, a man, has suffered serious injuries following the incident, which happened at the junction with Warren Lane and Ashanger Lane just after 4pm.

The road remains closed as emergencey services deal with the incident and have asked drivers to avoid the area.

Officers are currently attempting to locate the man’s next of kin

Anyone who knows a man who may have been running in the area this afternoon or witnessed the collision can contact Herts Police with any information on 101.
