Stevenage officers are appealing to the public to help catch the crooks who stole the used oil from the Harvester Restaurant on the Roaring Meg Retail Park overnight on Thursday June 14. The thieves gained access to the rear of the restaurant through its gates.

Investigating Officer Pc Dawn MacIntyre said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have seen the oil being taken or who may have been offered this oil for sale to contact us. This was a significant amount of oil and may have taken some time to remove.”

If you can help, call 101 quoting crime reference E1/12/3693 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
