Man hospitalised after Stevenage rush hour pile up

A DRIVER was hospitalised this morning after a four vehicle smash in Stevenage.
The emergency services were alerted to a multiple collision between a red Ford Focus, White Vauxhall Combo, Black Lexus IS250 and Green Ford Galaxy at the junction of Broadhall Way and Gunnels Wood Road at 7.20am
East of England Ambulance Service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “A man received slight injuries and following treatment by a Letchworth ambulance crew at the roadside, he was taken to the Lister Hospital for further assessments.”
Two vehicles were recovered from the scene.
