A 23-year-old man has been charged following a police appeal in connection with a serious assault in Letchworth.

Roshaan Malcolm – of no fixed address – was charged with GBH, kidnap and criminal damage on Friday.

The charges related to crimes which allegedly took place on Friday, February 9.

He was remanded in custody following an appearance at Hatfield Remand Court.
