Teenagers arrested after firearm recovered in Letchworth

Two teenagers from Letchworth have been arrested following the recovery of a handgun at a house on Friday.

Officers arrested the 18-year-old woman and 16-year-old boy on suspicion of possession of a firearm, which police said was recovered at a house on the Jackmans Estate.

They have been released under investigation while police look in to the circumstances surrounding the gun being in the house.
