Letchworth church to welcome families for school holiday events in run-up to Easter

Looking for things to do with the kids this week in the run-up to Easter? St Thomas’ Church in Letchworth has a couple of family events on.

All are welcome at Wilbury Hall, behind St Thomas’ Church at the corner of Bedford Road and Bursland.

Kids Cook is on Tuesday from 11.30am to 1pm, with free food, activities and games for primary school children and their famiies.

And on Thursday there will be Tom’s Drop-in from 2pm to 4pm, with tea, coffee, soft drinks, biscuits and chat.

Church member Peter Willcox told the Comet: “Come drop in for a cup of tea and a chat – or play games and have a look at our library.

“The church will be open as well.”

There’s also an open-door coffee morning at Letchworth Free Church in Norton Way North from 1.30am to 12 noon on Thursday, with a LALG whist drive from 7.15pm that evening in the Free Church hall.
