A man was arrested for drugs offences in Biggleswade last night after armed police were called to a concern for welfare incident.

The officers and a dog unit were called to a property in Holme Crescent and arrested the man for drug-related crime.

A spokeswoman from Beds Police said: “We arrested one man in connection with drugs offences and a vulnerable person at the same address was taken into safety.”
