Fundraisers ran through the day and night for 250km to raise funds to help Hitchin youth charity Phase.
The 11 runners kept going for 24 hours straight at Archers Gym and covered the target 240km distance in just 24 hours – actually covering a total of 251.8km.
The team have raised more than £2,000 for the charity in the process.
Runners took on slots of up to four hours during the challenge – with a replacement fundraiser drafted in via social media with 20 minutes to spare.
David Alvarez, of AZ Autos, ran four one-hour slots. He said: “As soon as I heard about this challenge I could not resist getting involved.”
Hitchin Girls’ School teacher Ellie Scott, who also took part, said: “I see first-hand the positive impact that Phase has on our students and the school community.”
