A 30-year-old man from Hitchin charged with murder following the death of a man in Stevenage is due to appear at Luton Crown Court tomorrow.

The body of William Floyd, 57, was found by officers at his Harrow Court flat in Silam Road on Sunday.

Robert Fisher, from Nightingale Road in Hitchin, was charged with his murder and first appeared at Hatfield Remand Court on Saturday.

Anyone with information about this incident – who has not yet been spoken to by police - should contact the Beds, Cambs and Herts Major Crime Unit on 101.
