Swimmers went all out in Hitchin on Sunday morning to raise a handy total to help young adults in challenging circumstances.
The charity swim organised by Burnt Hare Events at the town’s outdoor pool raised £100 for Transitions UK, with half a dozen swimmers braving the early-morning start to support the charity.
The fundraiser also provided an opportunity to prepare for next month’s Hitchin Triathlon, which includes eight lengths of the 50-metre pool.
Burnt Hare’s Jake Amos said: “I want to thank those that came this morning and for helping to raise funds to go towards such a worthy cause, to help raise awareness and to help out something back to our community.
“The swim was a lot of fun, and the warm weather helps a lot too!”
