Great Northern has warned commuters to expect delays this evening due to a trespasser on the line.

At about 6.20pm, Great Northern tweeted: “Due to a trespasser at King’s Cross, services to and from this station are currently subject to disruption.

“Tickets are currently being accepted on @TLRailUK, London Underground and London Buses.”

Great Northern also states on its website: “Trespassers on the railway between London King’s Cross and Alexandra Palace means trains have to run at reduced speed on all lines.

“As a result of this, train services running to and from this station will be cancelled, delayed or revised.

“Disruption is expected until 21:00.”
