This year marks Garden House Hospice Care’s 10th annual Starlight Walk – and this time there’s an ’80s twist.
The night-time event welcomes everyone for a six-mile route from the North Herts Leisure Centre in Letchworth, starting at 9pm on Saturday, September 15.
Having launched in 2009, the event has become an annual favourite – with walkers turning out every year to raise money for the hospice, which provides palliative care for people living in North Herts and Stevenage.
It is open to women, men and children – when walking with a participating adult – aged 10 years and over.
Hospice event manager Sophie Bottazzi said: “Our Starlight Walk is back, with an ’80s twist, for those who wish to get into ’80s attire.
“While dressing up is not compulsory, we guarentee a fun and inspiring evening for everyone. By taking part, you can help us raise much needed funds for patient care at your local hospice. We look forward to seeing you there!”
Signing up for the event costs £15 each. To find out more go to ghhospicecare.org.uk.
