Fire in chemical lab at Glaxo

Fire at a giant Stevenage pharmaceutical company has been contained by staff.
The alarm was raised shortly before 11am as fire broke out in a chemical lab at GlaxoSmithKline on Gunnels Wood Road.
Fire crews were dispatched to the scene and found the blaze out on arrival after onsite personnel used a chemical protection unit to extinguish it.
The cause was accidental, Herts Fire Service said.
