Biggleswade, Sandy and Shefford schools closed due to snow

Most schools in Biggleswade, Sandy, Shefford and the surrounding area are closed today due to conditions after the weekend’s snow.

Biggleswade’s Stratton Upper School, Sandy Upper School and Samuel Whitbread Academy in Shefford are all closed today.

Robert Bloomfield Academy in Shefford is also closed today, as are Biggleswade Academy and Etonbury Academy in Arlesey.

Other schools have yet to confirm whether they will open or stay closed today – the Comet will add any further closures to this list.

Roecroft Lower School in Stotfold and Shefford Lower School have confirmed they are open as usual. Shefford Lower has said children need not wear uniform, but should be dressed warmly with suitable footwear.
