A car with no driver was seen rolling down Hollow Lane in Hitchin yesterday afternoon, as it plummeted along the road and crashed into nearby parked cars.

Police were called to the scene – where luckily nobody was hurt – after a blue Volkswagen Passat collided with a black Vauxhall Astra and a purple Peugeot 108.

The owner of the Passat was located and moved the car, and police confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances.
