Missing 97-year-old from Stevenage found safe

A 97-year-old man who went missing from Stevenage yesterday has been found safe.

Police launched an appeal to find Donovan Southee yesterday – he was believed to have been travelling to the town centre from Symonds Green on his mobility scooter when he went missing.

It has now been confirmed by police that he has been located. A force spokesman thanked those who shared the appeal.
