William Floyd: 56, of Harrow Court, Stevenage, was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £22 compensation and £105 costs after stealing two gammon joints worth £33 from Waitrose in Stevenage High Street on June 14.

 

Jordan Barker: 20, of Nodes Drive, Stevenage, was order to pay £44 compensation and £85 costs after using a debit card which was not his in order to purchase scratch cards worth £44, in Knebworth on September 5.

 

John Mahon: 33, of Dukes Lane, was ordered to have treatment for drug dependency for six months and pay £132.93 compensation and £170 costs after stealing two pints of milk from the One Stop Store in Letchworth on August 13, and alcohol from Sainsbury’s Local in Letchworth on August 21 and 26.

 

Karen Morgan: 48, of Walkern Road, Stevenage, was committed to prison for eight weeks and ordered to pay £84 compensation after stealing meat products and a bottle of Pimms from the Co-op in London Road, Knebworth, on June 9, in breach of a suspended sentence order imposed on June 3 for stealing food from the same store on January 19.

 

Paul Coulter: 47, of Common View, Letchworth, was made subject to a restraining order lasting until October 10 2017, and fined £280 plus £115 costs for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour intended to cause harassment, alarm or distress, in Letchworth on August 6.

 

Denzil Missick: 39, of Priestley Road, Stevenage, was fined £250 plus £330 costs after making threatening phone calls in Hatfield on April 26.

 

David Morris: 45, of Kings Road, Hitchin, was ordered to carry out 40 hours unpaid community work and pay £170 costs for sending text messages in breach of a restraining order between September 20-24 in Hitchin.

 

Peter Manning: 58, of Bearton Road, Hitchin, was committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay £200 costs after making threatening phone calls intended to pervert the cause of justice, in Stevenage on September 19.

 

Christopher Marshall: 27, of Chagny Close, Letchworth, was committed to prison for 20 weeks supended for two years, and ordered to pay £115 costs after assaulting a woman by beating and damaging a glass window at Letchworth on July 25.

 

Kevin Cook: 36, of Canterbury Way, Stevenage, was fined £1,000 plus £1,390.06 costs after flytipping controlled waste, namely electrical sockets, cabling and other items, between Weston and Halls Green in Herts on or about March 4.

 

Darius Gumede: 29, of Redhill Road, Hitchin, was fined £140 plus £115 costs after being found in possession of a quantity of cannabis, in Watford on June 12.

 

Kevin Fraser: 40, of Hine Way, Hitchin, was fined £24 plus £105 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 47mph along the 40mph A602 Broadhall Way, Stevenage on March 18.

 

Kieran Crawford: 22, of Haysman Close, Letchworth, was banned from driving for six months due to repeat offending and fined £1,125 plus £152 costs for failing to stop a vehicle when required to do so by a constable in uniform and driving without insurance or a licence on August 2.

 

Shahin Fouladvand: 48, of Grovelands Avenue, Hitchin, was fined £470 plus £132 costs and awarded six penalty points for speeding along the M25 between J20-19 when a 40mph speed limit was in place, on January 20.

 

Lee Barber: 46, of The Poplars, Ickleford, was fined £1,000 plus £135 costs after driving without due care and attention and failing to report an accident in Arlesey Road, Hitchin, on January 25, at a police station within 24 hours.

Kathleen Connors: 46, of St Albans Road, Codicote, was banned from driving for six months due to repeat offending, and fined £660 plus £151 costs after failing to disclose the identity of the motorist using her vehicle when it was involved in an offence, between July 31 and August 27 2012.

 

Benjie Carman: 26, of Burymead, Stevenage, was fined £440 plus £129 costs and awarded seven penalty points for driving without due care and attention, exiting the Esso garage at the Broadhall Way roundabout in Stevenage, and entering the roundabout travelling agains the traffic in the wrong direction, colliding head-on wiht a Citroen C4 and causing heavy damage to the vehicle as well as fracturing a passenger’s jaw, on April 9.

 

Daniel Orchard: 26, of Gentle Court, Baldock, was fined £240 plus £115 costs and was banned from driving for 36 months for driving without insurance and with evidence of cocaine in his blood, in Radburn Way, Letchworth, on August 4.

 

Zbigniew Ernest: 40, of Seebohm Close, Hitchin, was committed to prison for 24 weeks, banned from driving for 48 months, and ordered to pay £115 costs after giving a breath specimen of 127mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, in Hine Way, Hitchin, on June 30, and driving while disqualified and without insurance, and fined a further £100 for failing to surrender to custody at St Albans magistrates court on September 20. He was also made subject to a suspended sentence of eight weeks imposed on November 30 2015 after giving a breath specimen of 131 mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, in Cromwell Road, Letchworth on November 7 2015.

 

Gary Dyer: 33, of Stirling Close, Stevenage, was committed to prison for four weeks and ordered to pay £115 costs after failing to notify the police of a change of address under the terms of Section 80 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 on October 10, and stealing alcohol shots worth £2 from Home Bargain Buys in Stevenage on October 20.

 

Kier Robinson: 20, of Stakepiece Road, Royston, was fined £330 plus £5.70 compensation and £158 costs after failing to hand over a ticket for inspection en route near Royston station on March 8.

 

Katie Smith: 20, of Rushby Mead, Letchworth, was fined £220 plus £30 compensation and £125 costs after failing to hand over a ticket for inspection at Stevenage on June 2.

 

Darren Spicer: 42, of Regent Street, Stotfold, was fined £660 plus £4.40 compensation and £189 costs after failing to hand over a ticket for inspection at Stevenage on June 2 and then providing a false address to a ticket inspector.

 

Ben Rogers: 31, of Longcroft Road, Stevenage, was fined £53 plus £14 compensation and £155 costs after entering a train without a valid ticket to travel, at Stevenage on June 8.

 

Cameron Smith: 18, of Green Street, Royston, was fined £147 plus £4 compensation and £155 costs after entering a train without a valid ticket to travel, at Letchworth on June 7.

 

Charlotte Harris: 20, of Field Crescent, Royston, was fined £220 plus £5.70 compensation and £155 costs after failing to hand over a ticket for inspection en route near Letchworth station on July 5.

 

Ben Haley: 19, of Essex Road, Stevenage, was fined £220 plus £9.10 compensation and £155 costs after failing to hand over a ticket for inspection at Stevenage on June 8.

 

Harwinder Grewal: 40, of Mildway Road, Stevenage, was fined £440 plus £13.30 compensation and £169 costs after travelling on a train beyond the distance paid for, at Stevenage on June 8.

 

Keaton Fairey: 25, of Pascal Way, Letchworth, was fined £330 plus £3.80 compensation and £158 costs after failing to hand over a ticket for inspection at Letchworth on July 10.

 

Adam Ellis: 31, of Vardon Road, Stevenage, was fined £220 plus £14 compensation and £155 costs for entering a train without a valid ticket, at Stevenage on June 8.

 

Connor Ewing: 21, of Shephall Way, Stevenage, was fined £220 plus £10.40 compensation and £155 costs after failing to hand over a ticket for inspection at Hertford North station on July 14.

 

Matthew Clark: 34, of Briary Lane, Royston, was fined £220 plus £12.10 compensation and £155 costs for entering a train without a valid ticket, at Royston on July 5.

David Moore: 28, of Dyes Lane, Stevenage, was banned from driving for six months due to repeat offending and fined £350 plus £535 costs for driving without insurance and without wearing a seatbelt in West Burrowfield, Welwyn Garden City, on October 1 2015.

 

Anthony Newbery: 62, of Minerva Close, Stevenage, was banned from driving for 13 months and fined £120 plus £115 costs after giving a blood specimen of 108mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood, in Valerian Way, Stevenage, on August 18.

 

Hilary Perricone: 53, of Homefield, Hinxworth, was fined £292 plus £114 costs and awarded four penalty points for speeding at 50mph along the 30mph Grace Way, Stevenage, on March 17.

 

Geoffrey Pelger: 45, of Old Charlton Road, Hitchin, was fined £538 plus £138 costs and awarded six penalty points for speeding at 82mph along the M25 between J16-23 when a 50mph temporary speed limit on was in place, on March 23.

Derek Smith: 47, of Baldock Road, Stotfold, was fined £440 plus £129 costs and awarded four penalty points for speeding at 91mph along the 70mph A505 Baldock to Royston road, on March 18.

 

James Horne: 31, of Oakhill, Letchworth, was fined £133 plus £105 costs and awarded four penalty points after speeding at 62mph along the M25 between J16-23 when a 40mph temporary speed limit was in place, on March 23.

Nathan Harper: 26, of Chester Road, Stevenage, was fined £40 plus £115 costs after using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress, in Stevenage on September 18.

 

Dale Jones: 45, of Trinity Road, Stotfold, was ordered to carry out 80 hours unpaid community work and pay £170 costs after being found in possession of a small lump of cocaine in Letchworth on September 13.

 

James Warren: 34, of Regent Court, Stotfold, was fined £305 plus £115 costs and awarded six penalty points for driving without insurance or a licence in Portmill, Hitchin, on September 17.

Sherry Cooksey: 49, of Newells, Letchworth, was fined £660 plus £151 and awarded six penalty points for failing to disclose the identity of the motorist using her vehicle when it was involved in an offence, at Stevenage between March 30 and April 26.

Chris Jones: 44, of High Street, Hinxworth, was fined £100 plus £105 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 70mph along the 50mph A414 at Stanstead Abbotts on February 26.

 

Jason Aldridge: 28, of Sefton Road, Stevenage, was banned from driving for six months due to repeat offending and fined £47 plus £105 costs for speeding at 55mph along the 40mph Martins Way, Stevenage, on January 23.

Luke Ward: 28, of Nightingale Road, Hitchin, was fined £100 plus £6.80 compensation and £155 costs for travelling on a railway without having previously paid his fare, en route near Letchworth station on February 15.

 

Jaimini Modi: 27, of Whitehorse Lane, Stevenage, was banned from driving for 15 months and fined £170 plus £70 costs after giving a breath specimen of 57mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath and driving without insurance in Market Place, Hitchin, on October 2.

 

Dean Sayers: 39, of Lapwing Rise, Stevenage, was banned from driving for 16 months and fined £120 plus £115 costs after refusing to provide a blood specimen at Stevenage on September 11, and a further £120 for driving without insurance in Vardon Road on the same date.

 

Keith Minnis: 52, of Regents Court, Stotfold, was banned from driving for 36 months and fined £800 plus £165 costs for refusing to provide a breath specimen in Letchworth on September 11, and afurther £480 for driving without insurance, licence or MOT in Northfields, Letchworth on the same date.

 

Christopher Manning: 51, of Sandown Road, Stevenage, was ordered to carry out 80 hours unpaid community work, banned from driving for 24 months, and ordered to pay £260 costs after giving a blood specimen of 188mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood, failing to stop after causing damage to another vehicle or reporting the accident at a police station within 24 hours, and driving without insurance, all in Derby Way, Stevenage on March 16.

 

Danny Riley: 42, of St Albans Drive, Stevenage, was banned from driving for 18 months and fined £520 plus £165 costs after giving a breath specimen of 66mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, in Mobbsbury Way, Stevenage, on August 1, and failing to report an accident in which he destroyed multiple wooden bollards in Mobbsbury Way on the same date.

 

Levi Simms: 21, of Highover Way, Hitchin, was committed to prison for 16 weeks, made subject to a restraining order until October 2 2017, and ordered to pay £115 costs after assaulting two women by beating in Baldock on October 1.

 

Karen Gilchrist: 49, of Buckthorn Avenue, Stevenage, was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £20 costs after assaulting a man by beating in Stevenage on October 2.

 

Shaun Harris: 49, of Shephall View, Stevenage, was committed to prision for 10 weeks and ordered to pay £50 compensation for assaulting police constables in the execution of their duty, in Stevenage on May 18.

 

Emma Sterling: 21, of Round Mead, Stevenage, was ordered to pay £100 compensation and £40 costs after assaulting two police constables in the execution of their duty, in Stevenage on September 27.

 

Jack Higgins: 23, of West View, Letchworth, was fined £450 plus £50 compensation and £130 costs after assaulting a man by beating in Letchworth on August 18, a further £450 fine and £2.50 compensation for stealing a ready meal from Sainsbury’s in Letchworth on the same date, and another £450 fine for failing to surrender to custody at Stevenage Magistrates’ Court on September 14.

 

Cheri Whelan: 40, of Edison Road, Stevenage, was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £235.97 compensation and £105 costs after stealing a bottle of Teachers whiskey worth £13.99 from B&M Bargains in Stevenage on July 19, a bottle of vodka worth £11.99 from the same place on July 29, and another bottle of whiskey worth £9.99 from the same location on August 6.

 

Brogan Murray: 19, of Wren Close, Hitchin, was committed to prison for eight weeks suspended for 18 months, banned from driving for 24 months, and ordered to pay £1,590 compensation and £200 costs after stealing alcohol worth £30 from Tesco in Royston on May 11, alcohol worth £60 from Tesco in Baldock on the same date, taking a vehicle without the owner’s conset in Stevenage on February 14, stealing a watch worth £900 in Stevenage on February 14, driving dangerously and without insurance or a licence on the A505 at Hitchin between May 11-12, without insurance or a licence in Bushey on February 15, and taking a car without consent and damaging a wall and the vehicle in Hitchin between May 11-12.

 

Colin Hemmings: 47, of Grimstone Road, Little Wymondley, was committed to prison for five weeks and ordered to pay £592.25 compensaiton after stealing a Dyson hoover worth £149.99 from B&M Bargains in Stevenage on July 20, a Karcher pressure washer worth £125 from Wilkinsons in Letchworth on July 22, alcohol and meat worth £258.80 from Lidl in Letchworth on September 6, and 50 pairs of boxer shorts and a suitcase worth £909.50 belonging to TK Maxx in Stevenage on August 26.

 

Tinashe Gurure: 27, of Jarden, Letchworth, was committed to prison for 12 weeks and ordered to pay £94.95 and £115 costs after stealing cosmetics worth £69.95 from Superdrug in Letchworth on September 1, and two bottles of wine worth £25 from the BP service station in Letchworth on the same date.

 

Jenny Cracknell: 43, of North Fields, Letchworth, was ordered to have treatment for alcohol dependency for six months, and pay £203.20 compensation and £170 costs after using a stolen debit card to purchase flight tickets, pay off court fines and make other purchases and cash withdrawals for herself, between May 30 and June 29 in Letchworth.

 

Samantha Duncan: 45, of Merchants Walk, Baldock, was given a 12 months conditional discharge and ordered to pay £105 costs after stealing items worth £50 from Wilko in Letchworth on August 21.

 

Hasime Xuferaj: 26, of Lancaster Road, Hitchin, was given a 12 months conditional discharge and ordered to pay £131 compensation and £105 costs for stealing clothes worth £75 from Phase 8 in Hitchin on August 5, and leggings and a watch worth £56 from Next in Hitchin on the same date.

 

Kevin Talbot: 41, of York Road, Stevenage, was ordered to pay £32.45 compensation and £40 costs for stealing two three bottles of White Strike Cider worth £7.98 from McColls in Stevenage on July 17, two three litre bottles of White Strike Cider and two packets of Walkers salt and vinegar crisps from McColls in Stevenage on July 19, a three litre bottle of Frosty Jack Cider worth £4.49 from McColls in Stevenage on July 24, and beer worth £10 from the Co-op in Stevenage on August 24

 

Raymond Jones: 23, of Cheviot Way, Stevenage, was fined £220 plus £115 costs after being found in possession of two bags of cannabis in Stevenage on July 15 and then failing to surrender to custody at Stevenage Magistrates’ Court on August 3.

 

Dean Scholes: 31, of Ivel Court, Letchworth, was fined £120 plus £115 costs for being in possession of a gram of cocaine in Hitchin on September 9, and fined a further £40 plus £25 compensation for stealing alcohol worth £25 from Tesco in Hitchin on the same date.

 

Winston Thorpe: 76, of Mountjoy, Hitchin, was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £100 costs after using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress, in Hitchin on March 14.

 

Aaron Hunt: 28, of Park Court, Letchworth, was ordered to pay £50 compensation after using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause a fear of immediate unlawful violence, in Letchworth on July 6.

 

Barry Gray: 39, of Broadwater Crescent, Stevenage, was ordered to pay £100 compensation and £170 costs after using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause a fear of immediate unlawful violence, in Stevenage on July 1.

 

Brad Benford: 35, of Hertford Road, Stevenage, was ordered to carry out 60 hours unpaid community work and pay £170 costs after sending 79 unwanted text messages in Stevenage between September 6-7, conduct which amounted to harassment.

 

Stephen Forrest: 51, of Oughton Head Way, Hitchin, was fined £95 plus £105 costs after sending a grossly offensive or indecent, obscene or menacing image via email on September 5

 

Kulvir Kangura: 36, of Hellards Road, Stevenage, was fined £80 plus £115 costs after obstructing a police constable in the execution of his duty in Stevenage on September 8.

 

Leon Makumbi: 19, of Bingen Road, Hitchin, was fined £240 plus £115 costs and awarded six penalty points for driving without a licence and insurance in Radburn Way, Letchworth, on July 26, and was fined £240 and banned from driving for six months due to repeat offending for driving without a licence and insurance and in excess of 60mph on the A1 southbound at Lower Caldicote on May 17.

 

Gary McGowan: 48, of Windermere Close, Stevenage, was fined £65 plus £105 and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 39mph along the 30mph A412 Rickmansworth Road, Watford, on March 4.

 

Marco Lorenzetto: 37, of Eldefield, Letchworth, was fined £600 plus £115 costs and was awarded three penalty points for driving without a seatbelt, with an expired driving licence and with worn tyres and a disfunctional stop lamp in Cambridge Road, Hitchin, on February 25.

 

Michael Lang: 55, of Orchard Road, Baldock, was fined £40 plus £105 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 39mph along 30mph on the B197 North Road, Stevenage, on March 7.

Andrew Crozier: 29, of Rockingham Way, Stevenage, was committed to prison for eight weeks suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay £200 costs after stealing razor blades, aftershaves and a Fitbit watch worth a total £291.46 from Boots in Stevenage on September 23, and then failing to provide a drugs sample on the same day.

Warren Gray: 28, of Gonville Crescent, Stevenage, was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £40 costs after stealing three packs of Gillette razors worth £39.97 from Superdrug in Stevenage on September 13.

 

Edward Oxley: 54, of Broadwater Crescent, Stevenage, was committed to prison for four weeks suspended for 12 months after failing to provide a drug sample at Stevenage on September 15, stealing meat worth £45.72 from Stevenage on September 6, and failing to attend a follow-up assessment at Stevenage police station on September 1.

 

Lee Couzens: 32, of Quinn Way, Letchworth, was committed to prison for 16 weeks suspended for 12 months, made subject to a restraining order until September 18 2017, and fined £200 plus £250 compensation and £265 costs for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour causing harassment, alarm or distress, and destroying a double glazed window, in Letchworth on September 16 and August 24, sending threatening emails on August 24, and assaulting a woman by beating in Letchworth between July 7-23.

Jack Overall: 22, of Moors Ley, Walkern, was banned from driving for 12 months and fined £420 plus £115 costs after driving without due care and attention and having a proportion of a controlled drug, namely delta-9-tetrahyndrocannabinol, was in excess of the specified limit, in Verity Way, Stevenage, on July 10.

Ricky Littlechild: 23, of Made Feld, Stevenage, was fined £80 plus £115 costs after being in possession of two bags of herbal cannabis in Town Centre Gardens, Stevenage, on June 8.

Simon Moore: 34, of Kingswood Avenue, Hitchin, was fined £625 plus £148 costs after breaching a restraining order imposed on November 2015, between April 16 and May 1 in Hitchin.

 

James McDermott: 51, of Yarmouth Road, Stevenage, was fined £50 plus £50 compensation and £115 costs after assaulting a woman in Stevenage on March 5.

 

Robert Collins: 48, of Western Way, Letchworth, was fined £80 plus £100 compensation and £85 costs after using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause a fear of immediate unlawful violence, in Letchworth on July 25.

 

Nathan Casey: 37, of Chester Road, Stevenage, was committed to prison for 12 weeks and made subject to a restraining order lasting until August 7 2018 and ordered to pay £200 compensation and £115 costs after using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause a fear of immediate unlawful violence, in Stevenage on June 6, and failing to surrender to custody at Stevenage Magistrates’ Court on July 25.

 

Barry Fells: 56, of Purwell Lane, Hitchin, was fined £140 plus £100 compensation and £115 costs after using threatening or abusive words or behaviour towards police constables which was likely to cause a fear of immediate unlawful violence, in Hitchin on July 24.

 

Ian Kennedy: 87, of Lilleybottom Road, Lilley, was made subject to a restraining order until August 7 2018, and was fined £700 plus £500 compensation and £370 costs after assaulting a woman by beating at Stevenage on May 10.

 

Nicky Dawson: 27, of Harrowdene, Stevenage, was committed to prison for 22 weeks and ordered to pay £115 costs after assaulting a woman by beating in Stevenage on July 5.
