A 28-year-old man from Codicote who is a passionate campaigner and advocate for learning disability rights has gained a seat on the board of a group which advises on the subject.

Harry Roche has been given a seat at Inclusion Europe, which is quite a feat for someone of his age. He is one of only three board members with a learning disability.

Hard-working Harry works for Mencap and has spoken of his experiences in Brussels and Florida. He said: “I was really proud when I found out that I had been chosen. It is a real step up for me!”
