Detectives are releasing these CCTV images in a bid to trace two men, who they believe may hold vital information which could assist their investigations into the two burglaries at Lidl in Letchworth GC.

The first incident happened between 11.25pm and 11.50pm on Thursday, January 26. The offenders gained access to the rear of the premises by removing a window. After a search, they made off with a sum of cash.

The second incident happened last Wednesday at 10.35pm, when offenders removed a metal grill from the window to the staff canteen and forced through a wooden panel. They made off with cash on that occasion too.

Dr Geoff Scarborough, from Hitchin Police Station, is investigating. He said: “We believe these men may have information which could assist our investigation. Is this you? Do you know who these men are? If so, I would urge you to get in contact with us as a matter of urgency.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting either G2/12/149 or G2/12/281. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
