A BURST pipe left residents without running water earlier today (Tuesday).
A water main burst at the junction of Eastern Way and Southfields in Letchworth GC this morning, with water seen running down both streets.
Workers from Veolia Water were sent to the scene and began repairing the main at 9.30am.
Some residents in Southfields were without a water supply for one hour while work was carried out.
Speaking on Tuesday, a spokesman for Veolia Water said: “We would like to apologise to customers for any inconvenience caused by a burst six inch water main in Eastern Way/Southfields in Letchworth today.
“The main has now been repaired and we would like to thank customers affected for their patience.”
