GABZ Gardiner is to release the song that shot her into the limelight on Britain’s Got Talent as a single.

The Stevenage singer-songwriter’s own composition The One will be produced by Sony-Synco and go on sale as Lighters (The One) on June 30.

The 14-year-old, who attends The Nobel School, is shooting the video for her song today (Thursday), less than two weeks after appearing in the final of the ITV talent contest.

Gabz’ dad Noel told the Comet it’s “all very exciting”.

Writing on social networking website Twitter, Gabz said: “So excited! I’m gonna be releasing #LightersTheOne on June 30th!!! Thanks so much to everyone for their support x”.
