A play area in Biggleswade is yet to be opened after three years of being fenced off.
Neighbours in the King’s Reach area say they have “waited long enough” and want to see the park opened to give children in the area a place to go.
Richard Barrett said: “When will the developers get round to opening this play area? It has been three years, and now the sunny weather is here and it is still not open!
“Every day children walk by it with their parents looking at it and wanting somewhere to play on this new estate in Biggleswade. We have waited long enough.”
A Central Bedfordshire Council spokeswoman told the Comet: “The play area is the responsibility of the housing estate developers.
“The opening of the play area is awaiting the removal of the temporary community centre, which would pose a health and safety risk to users.
“Its removal would then allow the play area to be completed. The council is working with the developers to ensure that this happens as soon as possible.”
