A 20-year-old man from Biggleswade has been found guilty of outraging public decency by masturbating on a public bus.

Cameron Whiteman, of Coppice Mead, denied the charge but was found guilty after a trial before Luton magistrates yesterday.

The court heard he had masturbated in public on the bus in Bedford on August 21 last year.

Whiteman – who has Asperger syndrome and autism, and is now seeking counselling – was also accused of showing his penis to a co-worker in Sandy, but was found not guilty of this charge.

He will be sentenced at Luton Magistrates’ Court on Monday, April 30.
