Police have confirmed the runner involved in yesterday's collision with a lorry, has died.

A man sadly died after yesterday’s crash on the A507 near Baldock, police have now confirmed.

The collision involved a runner and a lorry, and happened at the junction with Warren Lane and Ashanger Lane just after 4pm.

A police spokeswoman confirmed that the runner died at the scene, and said his next of kin have been traced and will be supported by specialist family liaison officers.

Anyone who witnessed the incident should call police on 101.
