More than 100 students from a Letchworth secondary school made their way to London for a memorable trip to the theatre.
The Year 7 students from Fearnhill School journeyed by train, visiting a host of historic landmarks including St Paul's Cathedral, Southbank, St James' Park, among others.
They then headed to Wimbledon for an afternoon performance of The Snow Queen at Polka Theatre.
Michael Turner, head of KS3, said: "We wanted to make some great memories for our students and in the process grow their confidence and understanding of themselves and their capital city.
"We covered a lot of steps and saw a lot of sights but I think staff and students alike would agree that the day was a great success.
"Well done to Year 7 for great behaviour and many thanks to staff who accompanied them."
