A white van ended up in the trees this afternoon after failing to stop at a T-junction between Baldock and Stotfold.

The van, approaching from Baldock, went off the carriageway at the Norton Road junction next to Nortonbury Lane – with police posting a photograph of the vehicle being recovered at 6.38pm on Twitter.

It is not clear at this stage if anyone was injured in the crash.
