A woman was helped from her car in Martins Way after it flipped over this morning.


Two people were taken to hospital after a serious crash in Stevenage town centre last night.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene in St George’s Way shortly after 8.30pm.

The crash involved a grey Vauxhall Insignia and a silver Peugeot 307.

Road closures were put in place temporarily.

Two ambulances, a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance officer attended to treat two people involved in the crash.

Both were taken to the town’s Lister Hospital for further treatment.
