A main road through Stevenage was blocked yesterday evening after a crash involving two cars at a roundabout.

The crash, shortly before 7pm, involved a black Audi A3 and a silver Renault Scenic.

It happened on the A602 Broadhall Way, at the junction with Shephall Way.

The carriageway was blocked and an ambulance was called, but this was then cancelled.

Police said the road was cleared by 9.15pm.
