There are currently delays of around 20 minutes on the A1(M) near Stevenage following a crash this afternoon.

The incident happened southbound between junctions 7 and 8 and it is not yet known if anyone was injured.

Highways England state that traffic conditions are expected to return to normal by 4.45pm.
