Police were called to the scene of a crash in Kimpton today after a car ended up on its roof.

A police spokesman said: “We were called at 7.48am this morning about a car on its roof in Luton Road, Kimpton.

“The car, which was a black Vauxhall Corsa, was blocking the road.

“It was recovered by 9.15am and the road was reopened.

“The driver, a man, was uninjured.”

Villagers took to social media saying that the area where the crash happened was notorious for accidents and that something needed to be done to make the corner safer.
