EBBSFLEET United's Ross Smith is hoping to rejoin Major League Soccer next season.
According to the Kent News, the defender, who is on a short-term deal at Stonebridge Road, had joined Colorado Rapids in January but after being diagnosed with a heart condition had his contract ripped up by the MLS club.
Only after a specialist in his native Canada offered him surgery could he play football again and he is now looking to cross the Atlantic once more to line up against David Beckham next season.
OXFORD United boss Chris Wilder is looking to bring in two new players.
According to the Oxford Times, Wilder believes bringing in new blood will give his promotion hopefuls a boost as they look to push on at the top of the Blue Square Premier.
With injuries now affecting his squad, he said: "We're working very hard, hopefully we can get something for Tuesday and hopefully another one before the deadline passes on Thursday."
WREXHAM striker Gareth Taylor has urged his club's fans not to give up on their team halfway through the season.
The Welsh club had high hopes for this season but after 19 matches find themselves below mid-table in 15th position.
"They are an honest bunch of fans and if we turnout on Tuesday (against Kidderminster) and are ready from the off I'm sure they will be with us and that makes a lot of difference.
